Partner with John Essy Ministries
It is your giving that makes this ministry possible.

I would ask that you would consider partnering with us to take the message of God’s unconditional love and grace around the world. Your giving is changing people’s lives, I hear the testimonies and see it on people’s faces all the time. Without the help of generous people like you this would not be possible. There is an interesting principle in the bible that is found in Philippians 4:17 it says that when a person partners financially with a minister preaching the gospel, in the ledger book in heaven, God makes note of it. Not only that; Jesus receives the gift, multiplies what you have given, and gives it back to you. You can click on the link below to give. As you give let’s believe God for multiplication of your gift, and together we can expect an abundant harvest on your behalf.

Does sin stop the power of God from moving in a person’s life?
NO!!!  Sin does not stop the power of God nor does it stop His anointing from flowing too or through you.  You can receive healing even if you are living a totally sinful life.  Would I recommend you live in sin, no, but God’s healing power or His anointing is not contingent on your performance in anyway.
It has long been taught that if you have sin in your life God won’t heal, prosper or anoint you.  And that in order for God to move you must make sure you have forgiven everyone, not drink alcohol, not smoke cigarettes or chew tobacco or whatever pet vice the religious decide is unholy.  This is a prevailing doctrine in the church today.  If you don’t live holy God is under no obligation to heal you.  In fact some will take it as far to say that God will judge you if you don’t live holy...
The problem with this doctrine is twofold.  Number one is, when we look at Jesus’ ministry we cannot substantiate that doctrine.  Jesus is the exact representation of God (Heb 1:3), you look at Jesus, you see God Himself in the flesh.  During His ministry before going to the cross, Jesus never rejected anyone for healing-never-no matter how sinful a lifestyle they were living.  In fact this was one of the major criticisms of the religious people of the day “The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, 'Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.” So if sin didn’t stop the power of God before Jesus shed His blood at the cross, it won’t stop it now that Jesus’ blood has satisfied all of God’s wrath.
The Second is this.  That doctrine assumes that everyone who has ever been healed or has preached the word with power is living a perfectly holy life.  That’s crazy – there is only one who lived a perfectly holy life and His name is Jesus!
Sin does not stop the power of God the only thing that stops the power of God is unbelief.  I’ll save that topic for another blog.
